Stations

The Station name in PerfectPass serves two roles relating to printing and reporting.

  • PrintManager uses the Station name to route print jobs to the assigned printer.

  • The Station name is recorded each time an incident is assigned to a student.

 

Select a Station after sign in

The first time you sign in you will be prompted to select a Station.

It is important to make the proper selection. PerfectPass uses the Station name to relay print jobs to the assigned printer.

Clearing the browser's cookies will require you to re-select the station the next time you sign in.

Select a different Station

The Station name can be changed at any time to print to a different printer, if available.

Click the station name drop list located at the top of the screen beside your PerfectPass username, then select an available station from the drop list.

Station Setup

Creating a new Station is only a few clicks, but please note that before using the Station you must also assign a printer to it.

After creating the Station, see Register a printer for PerfectPass | Configure the printer type and assign a Station.

Note: You are not required to assign a printer to a station. This may be useful if you want to assign incidents from a particular Station but do not require slips to be printed from the Station.

Create a Station

Click the Stations drop list then Edit Stations.

Add a new station name by filling out the Name field then click Create.

Next, you’ll most likely want to assign a printer to the Station.

Delete a Station

Remove a station by clicking Actions > Delete.
