Zebra ZQ310 Mobile Printer Setup
PerfectPass Mobile for iOS and Android supports the Zebra ZQ310 for Pass, Warning, and Detention slip printing.
Pair the Printer Using Bluetooth
Power On the Printer
Ensure the Zebra ZQ310 printer is powered on and wait for the power button to stop flashing. Confirm the yellow warning light is not on before proceeding.
Access Bluetooth Settings on Your Device
Open the Bluetooth settings on your iOS or Android device.
Enable Bluetooth Pairing on the Printer
Press and hold the line feed button on the printer for approximately 5 seconds until the Bluetooth light starts flashing.
Add the Printer
Tap the identified device to add it to your device's Bluetooth list.
Note: The 14-digit printer SN can be found on the underside of the unit and starts with the letters XX.
Confirm Addition:
After a moment, the ZQ310 SN will appear in the devices list. A disconnected state is not a concern.
Configure the Printer in PerfectPass Settings
Access PerfectPass Mobile
Open the PerfectPass Mobile application.
Navigate to Settings
Tap on the Menu icon, then select Settings.
Enable Printing
Toggle the "Enable Printing" option
Discover Printers
Tap on "Discover Printers"
Wait for Printer Details
After 5-15 seconds, the printer details will automatically populate the Printer Name and Mac Address fields.
Save Settings
Navigate away from the Settings menu to save the configuration changes.
For Android 11 devices, it's necessary to enable the printer’s pairing mode before tapping the Discover Printers button in “Configure the Printer in PerfectPass Settings - Step 4”.
If the printer was previously paired with a different mobile device, the Discover Printers pairing attempt on the new mobile device may fail. If this happens, confirm the Bluetooth light is flashing and tap Discover Printers again.
When transferring the printer to a different mobile device be sure to disable Bluetooth or unpair the printer on the previous device before attempting to pair the printer with the new device.
