Notifications

Notifications provide a way to automatically and instantly send email and SMS alerts to guardians when an incident is assigned to their student.

Manage notification templates

Visit Discipline > Incidents then click Manage > Notification Templates.

Add a notification alert to an incident

SMS Subscription Template

When a guardian is added they will receive an opt-in email and SMS confirmation message from PerfectPass. The SMS confirmation message can be customized with any text.

Visit Administration -> Notifications then Manage -> Settings

To use your own messaging uncheck Use Default Template and enter text into the text field. You may enter up to 140 characters.

The default template text is:

This is a PerfectPass automated message from [Tenant Name]. Messages will be used to notify you of disciplinary events.

How to unsubscribe from notifications

Guardians may unsubscribe at any time.
