Lists

Lists are a powerful tool in EliteID for organizing and grouping person records based on shared characteristics or criteria. They serve a couple important functions beyond just viewing:

  • Automatically assign credentials to listed individuals

  • Allowing list-based actions and operations

It's important to understand that lists provide a dynamic view of records from the database. The people displayed in a list at any given time depend on the list's filter criteria being applied in that moment.

This means lists can update automatically as people's information changes through imports, photo updates, credential printing, and other data modifications that impact whether they still match the list criteria.

Integrated Features

Lists are deeply integrated with other key EliteID features:

  • Dynamic Color- The color properties of card design elements can automatically adjust based on a person's presence in certain lists.

  • Dynamic Visibility - Card design elements can be shown or hidden depending on whether someone belongs to specific lists.

  • Batch Printing - Print ID cards for all people in the list with minimal clicks

When a person is associated with a list, that list's name will appear in the Lists pane on their individual Person screen.
