Person Screen Layout

The Person screen displays information about a selected individual. You can access this screen by choosing a person from search results or a list.

The screen features three main panels to view/modify personal data and manage ID cards:

Person Panel
This panel shows the individual's ID number, name, photo, signature, and any User Defined Fields. The top blue bar provides action buttons for capturing photos, editing mode, deleting, capturing signatures, and sending online photo invites.

You can configure custom fields in the Form Designer under the Administration menu.

Credentials Panel
Use this panel to access ID card templates, view the printing history, and print ID cards for the individual.

Event History Panel

This panel displays all events associated with the individual, such as record creation, updates, credential printings, and photo changes.

Capturing a photo

In the Person panel, click the camera icon or the photo area to start the photo capture process. You can use a camera/webcam, or upload a file as the photo source.

Editing a record

To modify an individual's information, click the pencil icon in the Person panel.

Deleting a record

Click the trashcan icon in the Person panel to permanently delete the record.

Deleting a person record is permanent.

Credentials

Select a credential template from the picker. The preview area shows a live preview of the ID card that will be printed.

Printing a card

Click the Print button to send the selected ID card template to the printer.

Credential History

Click Credential History (next to the Print button) to view the printing history for the selected credential.

Event History

The Event History panel lists all events related to the individual in chronological order, with the most recent activity at the top. Each event includes the date/time, event type, data changes, and the user who performed the action.

Events can be triggered by user actions within EliteID or by data imports. The event types include:

  • Person Created

  • Person Updated

  • Credential Printed

  • Credential Batch Printed

  • Photo Updated

  • Signature Captured

Notes

Use the Notes section to add relevant information about the individual. These notes are visible to all EliteID users.

Lists

The Lists pane shows any lists associated with the individual.

  1. List Name

  2. Go to the List (navigate away from Person to List)

  3. The name of the credential that is associated with the list

Record Details

The Record Details section displays important timestamps related to the individual's record, which are automatically updated:

  • Created Time: When the record was created

  • Modified Time: Last time the data was modified by a user or import

  • Photo Time: Timestamp of the most recent photo update

  • Last Import Time: Timestamp of the most recent data import

  • CloudCard Created Time: When the record was created in CloudCard

  • Signature Time: Timestamp of the most recent signature capture

Timestamps are shown in a friendly format (e.g., "3 hours ago"). Hover over the text to see the full timestamp.
