Barcode Scanning

The Nautiz X2 barcode scanner may require one-time configuration before it can be used with PerfectPass Mobile.

Android Version 9

1. Navigate to Android Settings > Scanner Settings > Scanner configuration

2. Enable Barcode scanning

Android Version 11

1. Navigate to Android Settings > Advanced Features> Barcode Scanner Settings > Scanner Configuration > General

2. Set Decoding Mode to ISO-8859-1

3. Set Scan results Send mode to The focus of the input

Using the barcode scanner

Physical scan buttons are located on either side of the device below the user-defined function key.

The Nautiz barcode scanner can be used with these PerfectPass Mobile features:

• Search Students

• Detention Check-In
