Manage detention attendance in the Detention Rosters tab. From this screen you can check students in/out of detentions and assign incidents as a consequence.

Any student who does not serve a detention will appear in Unserved Detentions.

Detention Rosters is found in Discipline > Detentions.

Select a detention roster

To start click the calendar icon to display the detention schedule calendar.

Each day shaded green indicates a detention event exists on that day.

Click on a day to show the available schedules.

The fraction (1/20 for example) indicates the number of students assigned to the detention / detention capacity.

Select a detention schedule to display students in the roster.

After you have selected a detention event there are two methods available to check students in to the detention event.

Check in using an ID scanner or input device

With a student roster selected click the CHECK IN button located in the bottom right to open the Check Students In To Detention screen.

Scan the students ID or type in their ID. Any matches will be checked in. Searches that return no results will be ignored and not return an error message.

Check in or out by selecting students manually

Click the CHECK IN button beside any student to check them into the detention.

To CHECK OUT the student click the green check button.

Assign Incident

Assign incidents to one or more students in the roster.

Are you assigning an incident because the student(s) did not serve the detention? For ease of use we recommend using Unserved Detentions for that purpose.

Select one or more students (tick the selection box) then choose Assign Incident from the droplist at the bottom then click OK.

In the Add An Incident screen select an incident to assign to the selected students then follow the prompts to complete the incident assignment.
