Vision Database Systems utilizes Amazon Web Services for its suite of cloud applications. Your information is protected by the following security features and policies.

Data storage and security

• Data is encrypted at rest

  • In our database using industry standard AES-256 encryption

  • In object storage using industry standard AES-256 encryption

• Data is encrypted in transit

  • Between the database and our applications using TLS 1.2

  • Between object storage and our applications using TLS 1.2

  • Between clients and the load balancer we implement security policy ELBSecurityPolicy-2016-08 for compatibility purposes

• Access to data is given only to those employees who require it to perform a specific job

• Resource access is actively monitored and logged

Database security & backups

• Automated backups, read replicas, and snapshots are encrypted

• The server is isolated on our own virtual network

• Network access is strictly controlled by firewall policy
