The image-20240320-143212.png Barcode Object allows you to print 1D barcodes on the ID card in various formats.

Appearance

  • Barcode Symbology: Choose a symbology from the dropdown list:

    • Codabar

    • Code 11

    • Code 128

    • Code 39

    • Code 39 Ext

    • Code 93

    • Code 93 Ext

    • EAN13

    • EAN8

    • IND25

    • Interleaved 25

    • MAT25

    • MSI

    • Postnet

    • Planet

    • Telepen

    • UPCa

    • UPCe

    • IntelligentMail

  • Bar Height: Control the height of the vertical barcode bars independent of the object size.

  • Add Check Character: Enable or disable this option to add a check character to the barcode. (Not all formats support a check character, and some barcode scanners may require configuration to account for the check character.)

  • Show Text: Enable this option to print the barcode value in text below the barcode.

  • Font: Select the font family for the barcode text.

  • Font Size: Adjust the font size for the barcode text.

  • Character Grouping: Group the barcode text in groups of 0, 3, 4, or 5.

  • Add Check Character to Text: Print the check character along with the barcode text.

Color

  • Foreground: Choose the color for the barcode and text.

  • Background: Set the background color for the barcode object.

  • Dynamic Color: Enable dynamic color changes based on conditions.

Data

  • Database Field Name: Choose from system, person, and credential fields to populate the barcode data.

  • Sample Text: Displays a preview of how the barcode will appear on the card.

Layout

  • Location (X, Y): Specify the horizontal and vertical coordinates for positioning the object.

  • Size: Adjust the width and height of the object.

  • Rotate: Rotate the object by a specified angle.

Visibility

  • Visible: Toggle the object's visibility on or off.

  • Dynamic Visibility: Set conditions for dynamic visibility.
