Partner Enrollment

  • Contact VDS Sales to enroll

  • Vision will establish your Partner-level user account

Subscriptions & Licensing

View your customers' subscriptions in RapIDadmin > Subscriptions & Licenses.

  • Vision will activate your customer’s subscription when the sales order is processed. You may request a specific start date on the purchase order.

Supporting your Customers

Your Partner user account provides access to special features allowing you to manage Customers, Tenants, and Users.

RapIDadmin

RapIDadmin is your portal to administer VDSapps apps including from the web browser.

Partner Features

  • Use Login as this user to impersonate a Customer user. This allows you to view their Tenant environment at any time and easily provide end-user support.

  • Use your Partner account to create, edit, and delete Customers, Tenants, and Users.

  • Personalize Help & Support with custom support contact information.

PerfectPass - Onboarding Checklist

Each new customer enrolled in PerfectPass must have the following tasks completed to be ready for the start of the school year.

  1. Create a new Customer in RapIDadmin (Dealer)

  2. Create a new Tenant under the Customer (Dealer)

  3. License the Customer (Vision)

  4. Create Users (Dealer/Customer)

  5. Create locked user account(s) for data export and printing (Dealer)

  6. Install VDS PrintManager on the PerfectPass workstations (Dealer/Customer)

  7. Import student data & photos (Dealer/Customer)

  8. Institute the school’s discipline policy and detention schedule (Dealer/Customer) Instructions

  9. Create Semesters for the new year (Dealer/Customer)

  10. Setup Stations (Dealer/Customer)

PerfectPass - Returning User Checklist

If the customer has used PerfectPass in a previous year please review these tasks to ensure they are ready for the start of the school year.

Enable the Applies to current semester only option for each incident, otherwise previous incidents will count toward the current year. The setting is found in Discipline > Incidents

  1. Confirm the subscription for the new year is active (RapIDadmin > Subscriptions & Licensing > Subscriptions)

  2. Import student data & photos

  3. Institute the school’s discipline policy and detention schedule Instructions

  4. Create Semesters for the new year

  5. Modify Stations and Printer setup as needed
