Subscriptions

View VDSapps subscriptions by navigating to RapIDadmin > Subscriptions & Licenses > Subscriptions.

A subscription may contain licenses for one or more products. Products will be listed by name in the Products column, with the number of user licenses.

The Status column will contain one of three status values: active, cancelled, or trialing. If the status is trialing, the trial end date will be displayed.

Licensing

View and release licenses in use by navigating to RapIDadmin > Subscriptions & Licenses > Licenses.

A user may be logged into an application from both a mobile device and the web at the same time while taking up only a single "seat".

The Platform column will list whether the license was acquired from a Web or Mobile device, or both, and displays a device identifier that will help identify the device that is occupying the seat.

Licenses are released automatically when a user logs out of all listed platforms.

An administrator, or other user with the RapIDadmin:Subscriptions and Licensing:Change Assigned Licenses permission, can force logoff the user to release the license. See Release a license below.

Release a license

It is possible for a single user to acquire more than 1 user license if they do not sign out, or they sign in multiple times using separate browser tabs or browsers.

License limits

License limits prevent any one tenant from acquiring more than the configured number of application licenses.
